Machapuchare created using only three colors.
Machapuchare is a sacred mountain that no one has ever summited.
The mountain is dedicated to the god Shiva, who is the god of destruction — but in a good way! (the one with the eye on his forehead). He represents rebirth and serves as an inspiration for meditation and yoga.
Climbing the mountain is strictly forbidden due to its sacredness.
This is my version of the mountain, even though the peaks are called the “fish tail,” I made it look like a heart, and for some reason, I also see an owl in it??
I also want to paint a bird in the painting because to me, mountains represent freedom.
Painted with acrylics on a 70 cm x 100 cm canvas.
